You will be working with an Egyptian fintech startup founded in 2024 that provides digital invoice financing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), offering credit approvals within minutes and fund disbursement in under 48 hours.In 2024, it became the first company in Egypt to receive a digital factoring license from the Financial Regulatory Authority, enabling it to offer fully digital factoring and reverse-factoring services. Oliv aims to bridge a $39 billion SME funding gap in Egypt and plans to serve over 5,000 clients by 2028.

As Head of Technology, you will:

- Align technology strategy with overall company vision and business objectives.
- Own and drive the end-to-end technology roadmap, including architecture, tech stack, and infrastructure.
- Grow, lead, and mentor a high-performing, lean engineering team.

**Requirements**:

- **10+ years of experience** in building robust software solutions.
- A strong **foundation in computer engineering** (relevant degrees from reputable institutions).
- A demonstrated ability to **build and lead high-performing tech teams**.
- Proven experience in **agile product development** in fast-paced environments.
- Deep understanding of **infrastructure architecture**, system design, and devops.
- A successful track record managing **mission-critical, high-scale systems**.
- Experience in building **intelligent, data-centric solutions**.
- Familiarity working in **cross-functional teams** with product and business stakeholders.
- A passion for fintech and a drive to make a tangible impact in the financial world.
- Evidence of **breadth in technology knowledge** and personal side projects or contributions.
