We are hiring a Planning Section Head to lead and oversee the raw material planning and control function within a steel fabrication environment specialized in pressure vessels.

Job Purpose:
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and warehouse departments to ensure timely availability of materials.

Monitor material consumption and stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Analyze material usage trends and optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Establish and maintain accurate material tracking systems within ERP/MRP platforms (e.g., Odoo, MS Project).

Support the production team by ensuring all required raw materials and consumables are available as per schedule.

Generate material status reports and present insights to management regarding efficiency, utilization, and cost control.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities.

Requirements
:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

5–10 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or production planning in heavy fabrication or pressure vessel manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of steel materils (plates, pipes, fittings, welding consumables).

Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (Odoo, MS Project).

Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
