**Job purpose**

The OBS IT department is in charge of decision-making information systems, serving Orange Business Services different line of businesses such as marketing, pre-sales, sales, production, after-sales services, and customer-service for both France and international domains.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**

The API Coach will be working closely with the technical lead, the product owner within the project and developers in addition to the product IT delivery manager.

In an Agile context, the API Coach / Solution Architect is required to undertake the following responsibility:

- Set and guide to best practise, standards and policies
- Training and Train the trainer activities for APIs
- Reviewing engineering work, design and architecture
- Getting into the code when needed
- Coaches mean you will build more sustainable and reusable APIs and make use of the features and investment in your platforms.
- Breaking down large scale projects into manageable chunks
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in cloud and distributed systems design patterns (Microservices, REST, SOA, OpenAPI, API Gateway ex. APIGEE)
- Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF), especially telecom (TMForum)
- Proficiency in programming languages (node.js, React/Angular, shell, SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience with Agile Project Management approach is a plus (SDLC, DevSecOps, BDD)
- Experience with service delivery process (ITSM/ITIL)
- Development experience for both mobile and desktop
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (GitLab/GitHub)

- B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
- Fluent in English, French is a plus

- 10+ years’ experience in the IT industry.
- 2-5 years’ experience in development activities
