Overview:
The Agile Team Coach will serve as a key member of our client's Center for Transformation team. They will collaborate closely with the CIO Staff and the IT Operations team on driving adoption of agile practices at scale. An experienced agile practitioner, they will work with IT and business partners to train and coach teams who are operating within Agile Release Trains following our client's adaptation of the SAFe framework. As an experienced servant leader, they will coach teams on their agile maturity journey and drive adoption of lean and agile practices for continuous improvement. They are a change agent and lifelong learner passionate about digital transformation in a rapidly evolving transportation industry.

Qualifications:
**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Coaches product and software development teams as a servant leader.
- Uses agile methodology, practices, and frameworks to efficiently plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Trains on Lean and agile practices for continuous improvement and problem solving. Drives and reinforces adoption of practices through coaching and mentoring.
- Helps teams identify, design, and implement process improvements that enable incremental value delivery to the customer.
- Drives shared accountability for outcomes within teams. Ensures the proper use of collaborative processes to manage tasks, issues, risks, and remove impediments.
- Uses metrics to inspect and adapt team progress, performance, and agile maturity.
- Fosters environment for healthy, high performing teams by improving transparency, feedback loops and team engagement.
- Facilitates agile ceremonies and events, guides teams towards healthy management practices and decision-making processes.
- May be asked to contribute to the documentation of Agile standards or creation of learning materials.

**Skills**:

- Flexible to work within USA Time Zone: 4:00pm - 12:00am.
- Excellent/Fluent command in written and spoken English is a MUST.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least 5 - 6 years of related experience.
- Experienced as scrum master or agile delivery manager 1-2 years and as agile coach 1 - 3 years
- Scrum Master certification (CSM (Scrum Alliance), PSMI (Scrum.org) or SAFe ® Scrum Master).
- Experience in an Agile Center of Excellence or Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE).
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Has contributed to the growth of agile communities in previous roles through development of documentation of guidelines, processes, and practices for agile teams at various levels.
- Experience collaborating with global and distributed teams. Comfortable with online facilitation, relationship building and virtual tools.
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications skills. Leads with empathy and radical candor.
- Experience guiding teams through project to product transitions and IT digital transformation.
- Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines.
- Motivated to achieve high standards and measurable results. Willing to test, learn and iterate their way towards operational excellence.
- Embraces and teaches simple, sustainable, and healthy work and life management practices.
