As a Data Governance Manager, you will be at the forefront of our data governance and management efforts. Your role will involve developing and implementing data processes, ensuring data quality, and supporting cross-functional teams in their data-related initiatives.
- **Data Governance Framework**: Develop and implement a robust data governance framework that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Data Policies and Standards**: Define, document, and communicate data governance policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistent data management practices.

**Skills**:
**Business Knowledge/Technical Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Management, Compliance, Business, Computer Science).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and data quality best practices.
- Experience with data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Proficiency in data governance tools and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of data integration tools, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data management software and tools is a plus.
- Experience in the insurance/financial industry is a plus.

**For experience Data Governance with 6+ years**:

- Extensive experience in implementing data governance frameworks in complex environments.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance related to data management and privacy.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and leading data governance programs.
- Advanced understanding of data governance tools and technologies.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores.
- Experience in building and optimizing 'big data' data governance frameworks and processes.
- Proficiency in using data governance tools and platforms to ensure data compliance and quality.
- Strong knowledge of data integration tools, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong knowledge of data management software and tools.
- DAMA Certified is a plus
