About The Job

The Data Governance Specialist supports the integrity, security, and quality of organizational data by assisting in data documentation, compliance tracking, and quality monitoring. This role suits a detail-oriented professional who contributes to maintaining data governance standards and supports cross-functional teams in applying best practices.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

:

Data Support


• Assist in maintaining data documentation and models in line with business needs.


• Coordinate with IT and business teams to support data integration efforts.


• Help ensure data ownership records are up to date and accessible.

Data Compliance


• Support the application of data governance policies and procedures.


• Help monitor compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.


• Compile basic compliance metrics and assist in preparing reports.

Data Quality


• Apply established data quality standards across relevant systems.


• Conduct routine checks to identify and report data quality issues.


• Support improvement efforts and track resolution progress.

Required skills and qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.

 2–3 years of experience in data support, compliance, or quality roles.

 Good analytical and organizational skills.

 Clear and professional communication abilities.

 Familiarity with DAMA methodology is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

 Accuracy and attention to detail.

 Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.

 Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

 Professional communication in Arabic and English.

Additional Requirements:

 May require occasional visits to MNT Halan Companies/Branches.

 Experience in fast-paced environments is preferred.
