Essential Responsibilities:

- Positively engage with commercial teams at proposal stage to ensure bids take critical execution risks into consideration while balancing commerce
- Detailed review of new project proposals to ensure robust project setup and DOR clarity
- Daily management of project execution with focus on cross-functional collaboration, Operations alignment and risk management
- Own EHS culture on projects in coordination with EHS function - zero incidents is the goal with transparent reporting expected
- Own partner and customer relationship through structured stakeholder management
- Intimate knowledge of project contract in collaboration with Contract Management
- Ensure on-time cash collection and forecasting in partnership with project finance manager
- Maintain detailed incremental view of project’s financial and schedule progress in partnership with Finance and Scheduling
- Track all potential positive and negative project deviations through active risk/opportunity management and tracking in coordination with Contract Management and Finance
- Identify customer-need opportunities with which to enhance project margin
- Consolidate all project tracking into internal Pulse project management tool to ensure minimum requirements are being met and be able to provide quick access status report on project
- Align strongly with Operations team to ensure process compliance, accurate reporting and optimal internal cross-functional collaboration
- Manage and document projects lessons learned and work with Operations to ensure they are effectively communicated internally
- Ensure that project challenges and risks are incrementally identified and managed such that impacts are not sudden
- Effective and concise reporting of project status at various project reviews

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering and/or minimum of 10 years of industrial field execution experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project execution and management in Oil & Energy industry
- Gas turbine / power plant technical proficiency
- Demonstrated contract set-up, negotiation and stakeholder management experience
- Demonstrated active risk management ability and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Robust Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with which to facilitate project tracking and communicate project status and issues
- Bilingual English & Arabic
