**Overview of role**:
The People & Organization Business Partner Lead is responsible for all HR related activity at the Tea factory as well as with Customer Development Forces. This will include, but not limited to: Employee Advocacy, Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, Employment Law/Legal Compliance, Performance Management, Coaching & Counseling, Organizational & Leadership Development, Change Agent, Succession Planning, and advising in HR processes. In addition, the People & Organization lead is responsible for site’s culture and acts as people expert supporting the Organization’s positive employee relations. He/she will ensure that policies and practices are designed and implemented in an effective manner, and in addition will work alongside the country HR team to support the wider Tea business and land the P&O strategy.
**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**:

- Participate in business planning and ensure alignment of P&O delivery with business goals at the organization level and at the site. P&O lead establishes objectives and delivers P&O strategy for the attainment of the organization’s vision and objectives.
- Support managers and teams in business delivery through enhancing their capability to deliver the organization’s objectives, manage people, implement change and build relations with key stakeholders (internal/external). This includes people aspects of furthering the site P&O for Factory & CD strategy, particularly the training, learning and educational strategy.
- Maintains effective employee relations through regularly interacting with PEL on the production floor & CD channels, fostering rapport and trust with employees.
- Collaborates with the business for creation of a high-performance culture by implementing team and organizational design solutions, providing measurable performance indicators, and improvement plans.
- Deploy agile approach across functions with the help of colleagues / P&O Team to stay ahead of the curve & to ensure the ekaterra organization is Future Fit..
- As an employee advocate, the P&O BP plays an integral role in organizational success through knowledge and advocacy of people. Fostering effective methods of goal setting, communication and empowerment through responsibility, builds employee ownership of the organization the P&O BP helps establish the org culture and climate in which people have the competency, concern, and commitment to business success.
- Brings P&O insight through consultation skills to bear on all people related issues (people, capabilities, organizational leadership and culture)
- Ensures and facilitates P&O service delivery to the business
- Keep track of all legal implications, amendments that impact or can impact business in future thus mitigating any risk to business or people by creating an organization that is 100% compliant at any point. Advise/guide all SC & CD leadership team on legal/compliance matters, amendments and issue guidelines wherever required.
- Build & maintain network & liaise with key government authorities, local industrial associations and other external forums.
- Ensure on-time execution & governance around key P&O processes such as talent reviews, annual objective setting, development plans for all, annual / regular performance reviews etc.
