Transport Automation Engineer

**What you’ll do**:
**Role purpose**:

- Develop software solutions serving transport domain users related to Network changes in day to day activities and problem handling
- Ensure highest Network quality, availability and resilience through development and implementation of new tools & software solutions also maintain live software solutions through optimization & development new suggestions.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Develop solutions to automate daily tasks through microservices & web apps.
- Proven experience with version control systems, especially Git, in a collaborative development environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- write unit tests, and troubleshoot issues to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Ensure security and data protection settings.
- Performing data analytics and other strategies to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data being collected from network.
- Interact with Technology functional departments continuously for achieving organizational digital strategy objectives.
- Enthusiastically demonstrate a commitment to the VFE Code of Conduct.

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- 2-3 years of experience in software development field.

**Needed technical / professional qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, computer engineering or related field Degree.
- Proficiency in Python is essential.
- Skilled in database (Oracle is preferred).
- Skilled in Django.
- Front-end development using HTML/CSS/JS
- Full understanding for data structures, algorithms, and software structure.
- Understanding of modern software development methodologies: Agile, DevOps, TDD.
- Web Scraping is a big plus.
- Skilled in fastapi is a plus.
- Web Development using.NET is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux shell scripting is a plus.
- Knowledge of IP & SDN networks a plus.
- Data analytics & ML is a plus.

- Flexibility, influencing and decisiveness.
- Working under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Fluent in English
