Automation Manager

Develop and oversee the implementation of automation systems and IIoT
solutions for our organization.
- Ensure that automation systems operate efficiently, reliably, and safely.
- Manage a team of automation engineers and technicians.
- Develop and maintain automation standards and best practices for the organization.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing.

- Experience in overseeing site-related work, such as installation and

- Develop and review automation control S/W and H/W Bill of Material.
- Select the components required to execute the design.
- Test, simulate and verify the design automation control models.
- Issue the design project document and user manual.
- Integrate the system and perform initial and field tests.
- Review and follow-up all project implementation planning schedules.
- Attend coordination/ kick-off meetings as necessary.
- Investigate the cause of equipment and system failures and fix them.Recommend design modifications to ensure there will be no malfunctions in the

system or in the machine.
- Supervise the full automation and projects team.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration within the team.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with different stakeholders.
- Collaborate and support different teams within the organization.

Communication Process Improvement.
- Conduct periodic status meeting with the Sales & Products teams to represent status, deviation and how to be back to original plan.
- Have technical overview knowledge of the selected automation technologies through attending with automation team regular technical training sessions offered by the vendor.
- Coordinate between the vendor, relevant managers, and sales team to help define strategies for the vendor products.
- Consolidate and distribute a global company/vendor business plan.
- Acts as SPOC for the Automation Department

People management.
- Inform the company training department with the available training programs from

the vendor for sales, presales, and support.
- Hire/recruit local resources as agreed to in the business plan.
- Lead, coach & appraise his/her direct subordinates, as well as prepare their development & training plan qualifications.
- 15 - 20 years of experience at the same field.

**Technical Skills**:

- Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Strong knowledge of communication protocols commonly used in industrial.

settings, such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, MQTT, and OPC.
- Experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
- Familiar with SCADA systems and data historian solutions.
- Familiar with programming languages (C#, Python, Java Script,.).
- Programing skills any type of PLCs using any type of the standard IEC 61131-3

(LD, FBD, ST, IL and SFC) and can use C language as well.
- Can manage the best sequence of the machine operation to get the optimum.

Bachelor of Engineering with a Specialization in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
