You will be working as Senior Automation engineer and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Product manager and will be responsible to support ABB’s business strategy by developing and managing a preferred supply base that enhances ABB’s competitiveness and success of our customers.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Studying customer requirement for RTU and SCADA based on the specs and conducted meetings, preparing the system architecture and Bill of materials accordingly, programming and commissioning of RTU/SCADA and relays based on different communication protocols
- Performing all the activities related to assigned Projects including preparation of drawings, BOM, schematics and automation drawings and identifying the best automation solution that meets the customer requirements
- Supporting in testing this solution and give the after sales service, implementing latest ABB technologies related to the product and being sure of following ABB processes related to this activity
- Conducting technical studies and reviewing for orders in hand to be sure that all client specification is strictly followed, having direct interaction with clients, supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products
- Working in cooperation with engineering manager, project management and planning in order to evenly load the factory production line, controlling and knowledge of the Orders running in hand and clearing all the related difficulties and commenting related to his assigned tasks to release the order for manufacturing
- Cautiously monitoring the department Key performance indicators such as FPY and OPQ, continuous monitoring and analyzing, refining the criteria of measurements is also key parameter of performance
- Having direct interaction with key clients as input for product marketing, supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products and also leaving positive impression about ABB employees and he is one of the team in direct contacts with ABB clients
- Improving customer experience is also a key parameter of the job holder, collecting and resolving the customer complains by ABB official tool which is CCRP, performing techno-commercial studies for selected offers
- Performing site visits with service experts to give his technical support in the automation field to either ABB service team or customer

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical power, communication, or control (5 years degree)
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as automation engineer
- Should have relatively good technical general knowledge, knowledge about ABB rules and regulations, ISO 9001 requirements, good knowledge of IEC and relevant standards is a must
- Fluency in both English language is mandatory
