Sales Director

Implements marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results. - Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. - Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts - Manages to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts. - Builds and grows on existing customer base, expand growth in new vertical markets and manages sales force to exceed annual sales goals. - Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning. - Assists in negotiation of pricing of contracts with clients. - Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. - Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand - Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Finance, Operations, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities. - Attends industry tradeshows, seminars, and conferences as appropriate.
Minimum 10 years experience in sales of cables and electrical products. - 3-5 years in sales management experience. - Good technical knowledge - in particular High Voltage, Low Voltage and Extra High Voltage cables and power systems engineering. - Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills. - Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans. - Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to understand all aspects of a P& L statement as it impacts sales and pricing.
