Our technology team builds the platforms, systems, and payment infrastructure our merchants use to process millions of transactions daily.
This team is building technology solutions to simplify MENA payments regionally and globally for businesses of all sizes.

**As a Tapster You Will**:

- Recruit, hire, develop and scale, an amazing team of engineers
- Support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical excellence and stability
- Manage processes to help the team do its best work and interface effectively with the rest of Tap
- Develop engineers on the team, helping them advance in their careers
- Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Tap’s engineering management team
- Work with all Tap leaders across the company to create and drive toward the vision of Tap payments
- Drive the roadmap and priorities for your team, and work with dependencies across the company
- Provide both technical and product leadership, empowering your team to ensure high quality in both areas
- Work with engineers, product managers, and designers across the company to establish product synergies and launch great consumer products at scale
- Be actively involved in strategic direction and product decisions for an emerging business
- Iterate rapidly on features, tooling, and processes as we launch first versions of new products
- Additional responsibilities as designated by the manager

**What You Bring to the Party**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Relevant experience within the Payments industry
- You have at least 3 years of engineering management experience and 8 years of overall software development experience
- Experience growing and managing teams of 20+
- Built diverse teams to tackle challenging technical problems
- Have demonstrated a track record of building high-quality products and
- managing high-performing teams
- Thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, driving impact across many different teams
- The desire to encourage a healthy work environment that’s both supportive and challenging
- Technical know-how to facilitate good architectural and product decisions by the team
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
