Job Summary:

The Automotive Mechanical Engineer is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. The role involves conducting mechanical inspections, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Perform maintenance and repair work on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and other vehicle components.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce mechanical failures.
  • Interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and engineering documents.
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations to customers and team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with workshop staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
  • Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics tools, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to identify mechanical problems quickly and accurately.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
