Software Development Team-Lead

PIPECARE Group is looking for an experienced Software Development Team-Lead

to join our team in Jordan.

Industry/sector: Oil&Gas / In Line Inspection services.

The Software Development Team-Lead is responsible for leading a team of developers, define the strategy and direction of software projects, and ensure seamless integration across PIPECARE's ecosystem. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to guide the team in delivering high-quality, mission-critical software used for comprehensive pipeline inspection data analysis.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

• Lead and mentor the software team, define roles, and track performance.
• Plan and manage projects to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Oversee design, development, and implementation of core software tools.
• Maintain architectural consistency, data integrity, and clear documentation.
• Define testing, release, and acceptance procedures.
• Support user training and smooth software deployment.
• Report progress, risks, and improvement opportunities to management.

Skills/Experience

• Bachelor's /master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering ,or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in team leadership or management roles.
• Strong background in C# / .NET and software architecture principles.
• Proven experience in delivering complex engineering or AI/ML-based software projects.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, VSC, and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and manage diverse technical requirements

• Experience with Data Science frameworks.
• Familiarity with high-performance computing.
• Understanding of ILI/NDT technologies or engineering signal/data processing.
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
• Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
• Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
