Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Development Engineer Test (SDET) Lead based in Cairo, Egypt, with opportunities for remote work. The SDET Lead will be responsible for leading test automation efforts, developing and implementing test plans, as well as ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. Key tasks include collaborating with development teams, performing test case reviews, and optimizing testing processes to align with best practices and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and Software Development methodologies
  • Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience with Back-End Web Development, including creating, optimizing, and maintaining server-side code
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor QA teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields are advantageous
