Role Description

We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer for a full-time hybrid role based in Heliopolis, with partial remote work flexibility. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining back-end and front-end components of web applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, optimize application performance, and apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to create scalable and efficient software solutions. The role also entails ensuring clean code quality and conducting regular troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP (preferably Laravel or similar frameworks).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience
    as a PHP Developer (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks).
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and agile development practices.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) is a plus.
