Project Managers at AZKA lead HW, SW, and System development projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and PMO standards.

I. Initiating Phase:

Define Project Purpose:
Collaborate on objectives, high-level scope, and ensure alignment with AZKA's strategic goals (revenue, cost, manufacturing, resources, and quality).

Identify Key People:
Pinpoint primary project stakeholders.

II. Planning Phase:

·
Detailed Scope:
Define and manage precise project scope and deliverables, controlling changes.

·
Comprehensive Plan:
Develop detailed plans for work, schedule, budget, and resources.

·
Engage Stakeholders:
Analyze stakeholders and create engagement strategies.

·
Plan for Risks:
Proactively identify, assess, and plan mitigation for risks and issues.

·
Follow PMO Methods:
Adhere to PMO methodologies during planning.

III. Executing Phase:

Lead Teams:
Direct and motivate cross-functional project teams.

·
Implement Quality:
Carry out quality assurance activities.

·
Manage Resources:
Direct and manage project resources.

·
Communicate:
Execute the communication plan with team and stakeholders.

IV. Monitoring & Controlling Phase:

·
Track Performance:
Continuously monitor schedule and budget, taking corrective actions to control costs.

·
Manage Risks:
Actively track, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues.

·
Control Quality:
Ensure ongoing adherence to quality standards and report on metrics (e.g., defect rates) for manufacturing and product quality.

·
Adjust Resources:
Monitor and adjust resource utilization for optimal allocation.

·
Report Progress:
Prepare and submit regular status reports to the PMO, including all required KPIs, using PMO dashboards.

·
Maintain Methodology:
Ensure ongoing adherence to PMO methodologies and provide feedback.

V. Closing Phase:

Formal Closure:
Complete all deliverables, obtain sign-off, and close out project financials.

·
Learn & Share:
Conduct reviews to identify improvements and contribute lessons learned to the PMO.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of proven project management experience, with a strong focus on Hardware (HW), Software (SW), and/or System development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams.

Certifications:

  • PMP Or CAPM certification is plus.
  • Agile certifications are highly desirable.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.

Skills:

  • Excellent Communication Skills:
    Ability to clearly articulate project status, risks, and requirements to diverse stakeholders (technical teams, leadership, external partners).
  • Strong Reporting & Follow-up Skills:
    Proficiency in preparing concise and accurate project reports, and diligently following up on actions, issues, and decisions to ensure timely resolution and progress.
