Job Purpose:

The Odoo Developer is responsible for designing, customizing, and integrating Odoo applications to enhance business processes and ensure scalable, reliable system performance. This role involves developing new modules, optimizing existing features, and supporting seamless integrations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (models, views, wizards, QWeb reports).
  • Configure and extend Odoo core apps such as
    Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and MRP
    according to business requirements.
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party systems via
    REST APIs
    and
    webhooks
    , and handle data imports/exports.
  • Implement
    security roles
    , record rules, and automate workflows using server actions and schedulers.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues; perform
    PostgreSQL tuning
    and caching optimization.
  • Manage
    Odoo version upgrades
    and
    data migrations
    , ensuring system stability and accuracy.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive
    technical documentation
    and
    test cases
    .
  • Collaborate with
    functional teams and business users
    during UAT, deployment, and post-go-live phases.

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of proven experience
    as an Odoo Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Python
    ,
    Odoo ORM
    , and
    XML
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    PostgreSQL
    ,
    Git
    , and
    Linux
    systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in
    custom module development
    and
    third-party integrations
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Odoo architecture
    , workflows, and best practices.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with
    JavaScript/OWL

    CI/CD pipelines

  • Knowledge of
