Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Odoo Developer to design, develop, and implement Odoo ERP modules that streamline business processes and enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Python, PostgreSQL, and the Odoo framework (v15–v19), with the ability to translate business requirements into functional, scalable, and maintainable code.

1. Development & Customization

  • Develop new Odoo modules and customize existing ones based on business requirements.
  • Implement and extend Odoo apps such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing, CRM, POS, Website, etc.
  • Create and optimize QWeb reports, server actions, automated workflows, and Odoo Studio configurations.
  • Integrate Odoo with external systems (e.g., ETA e-Invoice/e-Receipt, payment gateways, third-party APIs).

2. Technical Analysis

  • Analyze functional requirements from the Business Analyst / Functional Consultant.
  • Design technical solutions and prepare technical documentation for each module.

3. Testing & Deployment

  • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developments.
  • Deploy modules on Odoo SH / on-premise servers, manage updates and version migrations.

4. Support & Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely bug fixes.
  • Monitor Odoo system performance and recommend optimization solutions.

5. Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Functional, QA, and Project Management teams to ensure successful delivery of ERP solutions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and documentation updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience developing Odoo modules (preferably Enterprise Editions v15–v19).
  • Proficiency in Python, XML, JavaScript (OWL/QWeb), HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Linux/Ubuntu environments, and Git version control.
  • Strong understanding of Odoo ORM, MVC architecture, and API integrations (REST/JSON-RPC).
