We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Senior Technical Sales Engineer
to join our team in
Alexandria
. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our business pipeline, managing technical proposals, and supporting our clients across the full sales cycle. This role requires strong mechanical engineering knowledge, hands-on experience with technical drawings, and the ability to translate customer needs into accurate quotations and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring a strong and consistent pipeline.
  • Prepare quotations, technical offers, and commercial proposals with accuracy and speed.
  • Review client requirements, drawings, and specifications to recommend the appropriate engineering solutions.
  • Manage and update CRM platforms to track leads, activities, and opportunities.
  • Conduct technical presentations, site visits, and client meetings to support project requirements.
  • Coordinate internally with engineering, operation, and installation teams to ensure feasibility, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with the technical office to review drawings (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ensure all details are aligned with customer expectations.
  • Support tender submissions and documentation packages.
  • Maintain strong, professional client relationships and ensure top-quality communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in steel fabrication, water infrastructure, or industrial engineering sectors.
  • A Master of Engineering (M.Eng.), MSc in Engineering, or MBA is considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is required; familiarity with Fusion 360 and other design software is an advantage.
  • Strong command of Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Very good command of both English and Arabic.
  • Proficiency in working with AI tools is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems independently through research, initiative, and critical thinking.
  • Proven experience in CRM systems (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics Sales).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy in quotations, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-driven, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
