Key Responsibilities

  • Support and monitor the execution of the bank's information security governance framework.
  • Ensure the design and implementation of controls that align with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assist in the periodic review and enhancement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to track compliance posture.
  • Oversee vulnerability assessments for infrastructure and applications, review detailed scan results and ensure accuracy before dissemination.
  • Track remediation progress of critical/high vulnerabilities and escalate long-standing issues.
  • Ensure automated compliance scans are conducted against applicable standards.
  • Provide timely and accurate audit responses, evidence collection, and tracking of findings closure
  • Plan and execute periodic security awareness campaigns.
  • Lead third-party security assessments and ensure all vendors meet the bank's security standards.
  • Maintain documentation of vendor risk evaluations and signed NDAs
  • Propose enhancements to existing security controls and frameworks
  • Drive automation in governance tasks where feasible.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • 5 years+ experience in related security domain
  • Security experience in banking domain.
  • CISA, CISM, CEH or equivalent certification in the field of information security and compliance.
