Job description

The ideal candidate is a proactive, structured HR leader with strong agency experience. You'll own the full people lifecycle—workforce planning, headhunting/recruitment, onboarding, performance, payroll, employee relations, L&D, culture, and compliance—while partnering with leadership to scale our Cairo teams. You're hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable coaching managers through change.

Responsibilities

  • Turn business forecasts into quarterly hiring plans for Creative, Media Buying, Content, Studio, Tech, and Account teams.
  • Headhunt mid–senior talent and build strong pipelines; manage ATS to improve time-to-hire and offer acceptance.
  • Run end-to-end recruitment: briefs/JDs, sourcing, screening, structured interviews, tasks, offers, and onboarding.
  • Maintain standardised rubrics and a top-tier candidate experience/employer brand.
  • Lead People Ops: onboarding/offboarding, probation reviews, career frameworks, policies/SOPs, HR files & audits.
  • Advise managers on feedback, performance, PIPs, conflict resolution, and utilisation planning.
  • Own compensation/payroll for Egypt: monthly payroll accuracy, variable pay, commissions, overtime, freelancers.
  • Benchmark roles, propose salary bands, track headcount and cost-to-revenue ratios.
  • Drive L&D and engagement: role-based learning tracks, manager enablement, surveys and action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labour Law; keep handbooks current and inspections-ready.
  • Own HRIS/ATS (Odoo/BambooHR/Personio/Recruitee/Workable/Lever) and people dashboards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in HR with 2–3 years in a creative/marketing/digital agency (or similar professional-services firm).
  • Proven headhunting/closing experience for senior roles.
  • Hands-on Egypt payroll and strong knowledge of Egyptian labour regulations.
  • Sound employee-relations judgment; confident mediator and coach.
  • Experience designing performance and L&D frameworks in fast-paced teams.
  • Data-driven, process-oriented; excellent English & Arabic; strong documentation/reporting skills.
  • Nice to have: understanding of agency utilisation/billability models, SHRM certification.
