Job Title: Presales Engineer – VoIP, Cybersecurity & Software Solutions
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Department: Sales Engineering
Reports To: Sales Director / Technical Director
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Presales Engineer to support our sales team in delivering cutting-edge VoIP, PBX, Call Center, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Software solutions. This role bridges the gap between client needs and technical execution, ensuring tailored, scalable, and secure solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Technical Consultation
• Analyze client requirements and design tailored solutions across VoIP, PBX, call center platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise software.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirements.
• Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and solution walkthroughs.
Sales Enablement & Client Engagement
• Collaborate with account managers to develop winning proposals and RFP responses.
• Present technical solutions to C-level executives, IT managers, and procurement teams.
• Address technical objections and ensure alignment with client infrastructure and compliance needs.
Technical Documentation & Customizatio
n
• Create solution architecture diagrams, BOMs, and integration plans
.
• Customize demo environments and scripts to reflect local market needs (e.g., Arabic UI, local compliance)
.
• Support localization and integration with Egyptian telecom infrastructure and payment gateways
.
Cybersecurity & Compliance Advisor
y
• Recommend cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, firewalls, and secure communication protocols
.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with data protection regulations and industry standards
.
Training & Knowledge Transfe
r
• Train internal sales teams and channel partners on solution capabilities and positioning
.
• Provide onboarding support and technical guidance to new clients during early implementation phases
.
Qualifications
:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
.
• 3+ years of experience in presales, solution engineering, or technical consulting
.
• Strong knowledge of:
• VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP), PBX systems (Asterisk, 3CX, FreePBX
)
• Call center platforms (cloud/on-prem), IVR, CRM integration

• Cybersecurity tools (firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM
)
• Enterprise software (ERP, CRM, ticketing systems
)
• Familiarity with Egyptian telecom regulations and Arabic localization is a plus
.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic; additional languages are a bonus
.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and documentation skills
.
