Position Summary

The Business Development Executive

B2B Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical Branded Ingredients

is a target-focused and high-initiative professional responsible for expanding the customer base and supporting the commercial efforts within the B2B pharmaceutical and nutraceutical Branded Ingredients sector. This role will execute prospecting activities, support key account strategies, and facilitate the sales pipeline for branded ingredients and raw materials across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Prospecting

  • Execute active prospecting and solution-based selling strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and leads within the pharmaceutical & nutraceutical B2B sector.
  • Schedule meetings and support product introductions for the commercial manager.
  • Contribute to achieving the category's overall revenue and profitability targets.

2. Account Support & Customer Relations

  • Support the maintenance and growth of relationships with assigned key accounts and manufacturers.
  • Coordinate regular business reviews and facilitate the provision of technical or product support to customers.
  • Document customer interactions and ensure high customer satisfaction across category touchpoints.

3. Category & Market Intelligence Support

  • Assist the Commercial Manager by gathering market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs analysis.
  • Collaborate with the marketing teams to support promotional activities and new product launches.
  • Monitor product availability, supplier performance, and basic market data to inform commercial decisions.

4. Operational Coordination

  • Liaise with logistics, finance, and technical departments to resolve basic operational and customer service issues.
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline information and customer data accurately in the CRM system.
  • Support internal teams in preparing documentation for sales forecasting and performance reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+
    years of dynamic sales or Business Development experience is essential, including a
    minimum of 1+ year
    of hands-on expertise in the B2B sales environment for pharmaceutical or nutraceutical raw materials.
  • Good
    knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) with experience in preparing reports and presentations. CRM experience is a plus.
  • Communication:
    Excellent communication and foundational negotiation skills, presentation.
  • Analytical:
    Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Interpersonal:
    committed , Initiative , results driven ,Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
