They are now seeking support to enhance their email marketing efforts during an upcoming campaign period, with the possibility of longer-term collaboration.

Role Overview

The E-mail Marketing Specialist will create and send marketing emails using various platforms, with a primary focus on Mailchimp. The Email Marketing Specialist will transform provided copy and assets into functional, visually appealing emails that align with campaign goals. This role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with email design best practices, and experience working within established templates and brand guidelines.

This is a 2-month contract with the possibility for long-term incorporation into the team.

Key Responsibilities

Email Creation & Design

  • Build and design marketing emails using Mailchimp or other platforms based on provided copy and assets.

  • Ensure emails are visually appealing, responsive, and optimized for deliverability.

  • Work within existing email templates and branding guidelines.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure emails align with active campaigns.

  • Communicate effectively to understand campaign goals and accurately reflect them in email designs.

Testing & Optimization

  • Test emails across devices and email clients to ensure compatibility.

  • Monitor email performance metrics and suggest improvements.

Attention to Detail

  • Proofread all emails for accuracy, spelling, and grammar.

  • Verify all links, images, and functionality before sending.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Previous experience working with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp preferred; Constant Contact or Campaign Monitor are a plus).

  • Familiarity with email best practices, including A/B testing, segmentation, and campaign optimization.

  • Experience managing deadlines and producing consistent, high-quality work.

Skills

  • Strong written and spoken English.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email customization (bonus).

  • Experience with email automation and advanced strategies (bonus).
