Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data-related roles.
  • Strong experience in sourcing, accessing, and supporting data, as well as managing data engineering processes.
  • Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills, with proficiency in using administrative tools and relevant technologies.
  • Expertise in data operation models.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing (DWH) environments.
  • Very good knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong command of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end implementation of data strategy for operations and enterprise data management.
  • Use tools, logs, and data analysis to identify and present root causes of data issues.
  • Oversee production data operations, deployments, documentation, and data population in line with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with data teams to deliver support in compliance with bank policies, controls, and data protection regulations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and propose data automation initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, SMEs, clients, and vendors.
  • Manage data backup, restore, and archiving processes.
  • Ensure data availability across the full data lifecycle.
  • Monitor and manage performance of data solutions, layers, and transactions.
  • Align DBA standards with data support requirements across data management layers.
  • Support new data products and contribute to new project initiatives.
