WordPress & Shopify Developer

Location: New Cairo, Egypt (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled WordPress & Shopify Developer to join our New Cairo office. The

ideal candidate is a creative and technically proficient developer with hands-on experience

in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress and Shopify-based websites. You will

be responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive, and performance-optimized

eCommerce and corporate sites.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop, customize, and maintain websites on WordPress and Shopify platforms.

 Build custom themes, plugins, and integrations as needed.

 Optimize website performance (speed, SEO readiness, responsiveness).

 Ensure websites are cross-browser compatible and mobile-friendly.

 Manage website updates, migrations, and troubleshooting.

 Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services.

 Collaborate with the design and content teams to translate ideas into functional

websites.

 Maintain version control (Git) and follow best coding practices.

 Provide post-launch support and continuous enhancements and content and data

upload responsability.

Requirements

 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress and Shopify development.

 Proven portfolio with at least 5 live projects on WordPress and/or Shopify.

 Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and Liquid (Shopify

templating language).

 Experience with custom theme and plugin development.

 Knowledge of Shopify App integrations and WooCommerce setup.

 Understanding of SEO fundamentals, website security, and performance optimization.

 Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 Ability to work onsite in the New Cairo office, full time.

Preferred Skills

 Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.).

 Familiarity with Shopify Plus and custom checkout flows.

 Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles.

 Experience with GitHub or Bitbucket for version control.

 Strong communication and teamwork skills.
