Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for a Procurement Supervisor. The Senior Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing sourcing activities, evaluating suppliers, negotiating competitive terms, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. The role supports production and operations by securing the required items with the best quality, price, and delivery terms.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
  • Strong background in vendor management, negotiation, and sourcing.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or FMCG sector is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to evaluate suppliers, compare quotations, and prepare cost analysis.
  • Knowledge of procurement cycles, PR/PO processes, and contract terms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
