Company Description

The Egyptian German Automotive Company (EGA) was founded in 1996 as a joint venture between Egyptian entrepreneurs and Daimler AG. Supported by the Egyptian government, EGA built a state-of-the-art plant in the industrial area of 6th of October City, about 30 km southwest of Cairo. EGA has achieved sustained growth by expanding its model range and sales figures over the years, starting with the E-class model in 1997, the C-class in 1999, the S-class in 2006, and the GLK in 2009.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt for a Local Procurement Supervisor. The Local Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for managing purchase orders, overseeing procurement processes, conducting contract negotiations, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing. The Supervisor will also be required to analyze market trends, negotiate with suppliers, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in similar profession.
  • Must have wide exposure in local markets, specialized in maintenance items spare parts & equipment's " Mechanical & Electrical ".
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract terms, and inventory management..
  • Proficiency with ERP system (Odoo).
  • Excellent Communication & Negotiation skills (Verbal & Written).
