We work with national and international institutions in Egypt to foster economic growth and sustainable development through empowering entrepreneurship, promoting grassroots innovation, and building an open innovation ecosystem that facilitates knowledge and technology transfer between science, industry, and society. Through our work, we empower institutions, businesses, and communities to adopt innovation-driven models that address pressing challenges in climate action, sustainable development, and economic growth.

As part of our expanding portfolio, we are strengthening our capacity to engage with industry, academia, and international organizations to advance research commercialization, technology transfer, and the localization of science-based solutions. To achieve this, we are seeking a Programs and Partnerships Junior Specialist who will contribute to building partnerships, support commercialization activities, and assist in representing TIS Labs in national and international platforms.

Functions & Responsibilities1. Internal Development & Organizational Growth

o   Support documentation, data management, and development of internal tools and templates for TIS Labs.

o   Contribute to strengthening organizational functions, knowledge management, and reporting processes.

o   Assist leadership in shaping the growth trajectory of TIS Labs as a sustainable and impactful organization.

1. Business Development for Projects

o   Assist in scouting potential partners and conducting market research on innovation and industrial trends.

o   Identify market opportunities for commercialization of research outputs and services.

o   Support industrial localization, technology transfer, and commercialization activities.

3. Project Coordination & Delivery

o   Coordinate and oversee the execution of multi-partner projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.

o   Support cross-functional teams in project implementation, financial tracking, and reporting.

o   Contribute to impact evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication activities.

4. Proposal Development

o   Contribute to preparing project proposals and funding applications through research, drafting, and data organization.

o   Develop business models and value propositions for research commercialization.

o   Monitor funding opportunities from international donors, UN agencies, and the private sector.

5. Partnerships & Client Relations

o   Establish and maintain partnerships with industry, academia, and government entities.

o   Support partnership outreach, meeting follow-ups, and client communications.

o   Develop strategic alliances with international networks and innovation hubs.

6. Representation

o   Support TIS Labs' participation in national, regional, and international events.

o   Actively engage with UN agencies, donors, and global partners.

o   Position TIS Labs as a trusted partner in innovation systems and commercialization.

7. Cross-Organizational Support

o   Work closely with TIS Labs leadership to align business development with organizational strategy.

o   Support knowledge-sharing, internal capacity building, and organizational learning.

o   Contribute to documentation, coordination meetings, and team learning sessions.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or any related field. A strong

interest in innovation, sustainability, or development policy is a plus.

· Proven experience (1–3 years) in project coordination, partnerships, research support, or business development.

· Strong knowledge of proposal writing, reporting, and donor funding mechanisms.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

· Strong research and analytical abilities; comfortable collecting and organizing information.

· Ability to prepare professional presentations and communication materials.

· Familiarity with innovation ecosystems, technology transfer, or sustainability topics is an asset.

· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

· Adaptable and proactive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

· Professional presence and commitment to TIS Labs' mission of innovation-driven development.

· Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
