  • Payroll processing and auditing:
     Prepare and process regular payroll, including new hires, terminations, and time-sensitive adjustments, and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Data management:
     Maintain and update employee records, payroll codes, deductions, and direct deposit information in the payroll or HRIS system.
  • Compliance and reporting:
     Ensure all payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations; prepare and file necessary tax forms and reports.
  • Handling complex transactions:
     Process and calculate complex payroll items such as final settlements, retroactive pay, and adjustments due to promotions or job evaluations.
  • Employee support and expertise:
     Act as a resource for employees, management, and other staff on payroll policies, procedures, and complex issues.
  • Process improvement:
     Analyze current payroll processes, identify areas for improvement, and assist in implementing new ideas and systems to increase efficiency.
  • Benefit administration:
     Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, deductions, and required filings.

Job Requirements:

  • BSc. of any relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of experience as payroll/personnel specialist is a must
  • Experience in a construction or real estate company is a plus
  • HR Certificates/Diploma is a plus
