Role Description

  • Inspect incoming materials and ensure they meet the approved technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and labs for material testing and certification.
  • Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Identify and report any non-conforming work through NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Prepare daily and weekly quality reports for ongoing site activities.
  • Maintain records of inspections, test results, and relevant documentation.
  • Submit reports to the Quality Manager and Project Manager.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams regarding quality-related issues.
  • Attend technical and quality meetings as required.
  • Conduct internal inspections prior to consultant inspections.
  • Ensure all inspection and test plans (ITPs) are followed and documented properly.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, local building codes).
  • Implement the project-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, standards, and quality practices.
  • Familiarity with construction codes (e.g., ACI, ASTM, BS, local codes).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and quality management systems.
