Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt,

The role involves overseeing quality control processes to ensure that products meet company and industry standards.

  • Inspect the executed works against the project specifications & in accordance with the latest approved drawings and Quality control standards and procedures.
  • Inspect all the delivered materials to ensure that they completely match with approved material as well as the project specifications.
  • Preparing project quality control procedures and inspection plans (iRs, ITP), conducting necessary tests, and stating the method of installation and closure of non-conforming works to the project specifications in accordance with the project quality plan.
  • Coordinate with the Site Engineers to arrange daily inspection program in order to prepare QC inspection report.
  • Prepare check list for any discrepancies or nonconformance activities to follow up and submit it to project manager,
  • Maintain records of all inspections conducted on-site or by a third party, as well as monitor the quality of raw materials supplied from the factory before they are delivered and stored on-site.
  • inspect all equipment used on-site by the implementing contractor.
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the company's health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations, as well as risk assessments and environmental aspects.

Qualifications

    • 10 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Construction Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in heavy projects
  • experience in cladding works
  • Proficiency in Quality Control practices, including inspection, testing, and defect analysis
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and implementation of quality procedures
  • Knowledge of Quality Management systems, standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
