Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced
SEO Team Leader
to head our SEO efforts and guide a growing team of SEO specialists and content creators. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine optimization, both technically and strategically, with a proven track record of improving organic rankings, driving traffic, and generating measurable business results. This role will require a hands-on leader with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the SEO team, ensuring high performance and continuous learning
  • Develop, execute, and refine comprehensive
    SEO strategies
    aligned with client and company goals
  • Manage and oversee
    on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
    activities across multiple projects
  • Conduct in-depth
    SEO audits
    and provide actionable insights for website optimization
  • Perform regular
    keyword research
    , competitive analysis, and performance tracking
  • Collaborate with web developers, designers, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across websites
  • Design and manage
    link-building campaigns
    and outreach strategies
  • Analyze SEO performance using tools like
    Google Analytics
    ,
    Search Console
    ,
    Ahrefs
    ,
    SEMrush
    , etc.
  • Prepare and present monthly SEO performance reports to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Stay updated with the latest
    search engine algorithm updates
    , SEO trends, and industry best practices

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum
    4 years of hands-on SEO experience
    , including
    at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role
  • Strong experience with
    on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
  • Prior experience in a
    digital marketing agency
    is highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of
    search engine algorithms
    , ranking factors, and content optimization
  • Proficiency in
    SEO tools
    : Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Experience with
    HTML, CSS
    , and CMS platforms such as WordPress is a plus
  • Strong leadership, team management, and project coordination skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills
  • Bachelor's in marketing
    , Computer Science, or a related field
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications
    are a plus
