Job Title: Business Development Lead (Hybrid: Egypt & Middle East + International)
Location: Remote-hybrid (based in Egypt; travel and international outreach as needed)
Reports to: Managing Director / Head of Growth

What you'll do
• Develop and execute the growth & expansion strategy for Naomi across Egypt, the Middle East, and international markets.
• Identify, engage and build partnerships with key stakeholders: education institutions, corporates, government bodies, and channel partners.
• Lead the full sales cycle—from lead generation, through negotiation, to closing and account hand-off.
• Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, operations and customer success to align growth initiatives.
• Define and monitor KPIs: new territories, new accounts, revenue targets, partnership metrics.
• Represent Just to Learn at industry events, conferences and network gatherings (regional and global).
• Coach and manage a small team (or build one) as the business scales and take ownership of the business development function.
What we're looking for
• You have 5+ years of business development or sales leadership experience (preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or education / learning products).
• Proven track record of international expansion: launching into new markets, building channels and driving measurable growth.
• Strong network across the Middle East (and ideally beyond) with capability to build relationships in Egypt, Gulf, Africa, Europe or Asia.
• Excellent communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a "go-get-it" attitude.
• Data-driven: you set targets, track metrics, iterate fast, and continuously optimize your approach.
• Comfortable with a hybrid work setup: remote, flexible hours, travel as required.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and work in a fast-moving, high-energy environment.
Nice to have
• Experience working in educational platforms or learning products.
• Multilingual ability (Arabic + English; any other language is a plus).
• Experience managing or growing a team of business development or sales professionals.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, partner ecosystems, and channel sales.
