HUCON is looking for an
driven Civil Technical Office Engineer
to join our team in
BlueTree – New Cairo
. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional eager to take ownership of shop drawing production and approvals, ensuring buildability, quality, and progress in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing structural shop drawings for RC elements (plans, sections, rebar detailing, bar lists, BBS) from IFC/design drawings
  • Coordinating with Site, Technical Office, Architectural & MEP teams, and design consultants to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and relevant codes
  • Running coordination checks and issuing RFIs; tracking responses and revisions to closure
  • Managing submittals/transmittals with disciplined revision and approval logs
  • Preparing quantity take-offs and BBS; supporting planning and cost control with accurate on-time data
  • Issuing clarifications/detail sketches to site and updating as-built drawings

Requirements:

  • BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 1–3 years
    of experience in technical office roles within building/RC projects
  • Strong command of
    AutoCAD
    (essential);
    Revit Structure/Tekla
    knowledge is a plus
  • Solid understanding of RC detailing and constructability
  • Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, and document control workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially
    Excel
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to quality
