Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Payable/Receivable Accountant, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Payable/Receivable Accountant will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, ensuring timely payments and collections, maintaining detailed records of transactions, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to financial regulations, and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance.
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet tools such as Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in reconciling financial records.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills to liaise with vendors and team members.
  • Knowledge of local financial regulations and standards in Egypt is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are preferred.
