We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Accountant to join our expanding team at Enterprise Rent-A-Car Egypt, a subsidiary of Premier Group.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Oversee end-to-end AP operations: invoice receipt, validation against Fleet Request /rental
  • agreements, timely processing, and payment disbursement via checks, ACH, credit card, or wire
  • transfers.
  • Follow up on accident insurance payments with Insurance Co – coordinate with insurance providers
  • and internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission and processing of accident claims.
  • Review and code invoices to proper accounts (fleet maintenance, fuel, insurance, office supplies,
  • etc.), verify accuracy with suppliers, and resolve variances before payment.
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations monthly, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with
  • maintenance or operations teams to resolve issues.
  • Manage high payment volumes across cash flow status.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WH Tax), escalate sales/use tax, and maintain
  • supporting documentation for audit readiness.
  • Prepare accruals, journal entries, and necessary adjustments for month-end closing.
  • Maintain and update the vendor master file (terms, payment preferences, contact info), enforce
  • internal AP policies and procedures.
  • Follow Up invoices from Portal Tax with receiving Invoices from Fleet Dept.
  • Assist with external/internal audits; prepare documentation and ensure timely compliance with
  • audit standards.
  • Reporting:

-Monthly Aging Payable Report.

-Monthly Supplier Balance Report.

-Quarterly Maintenance Report by Unit.

-Monthly Payment Checks & Transfer vendor Report.

-Petty Cash & Custodies Balance Report.

-Accident insurance report.

-Delivery & Not Delivered check Supplier report.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • +3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the car rental industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Experience with accounting software.
