Job Description:

  • Prepare and update
    weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans
    based on sales forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.
  • Ensure production schedules are aligned with
    customer delivery requirements
    and
    inventory targets
    .
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Logistics, Procurement, and Quality to maintain
    smooth production flow
    .
  • Manage planning for
    multi-model assembly lines
    , ensuring optimal sequencing to minimize downtime and changeover.
  • Monitor production performance versus plan and identify variances and root causes.
  • Analyze data on
    efficiency, productivity, and utilization
    , and recommend process improvements.
  • Generate periodic
    planning performance reports
    , including forecast accuracy, production adherence, and material shortages.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production) to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Participate in
    capacity studies
    ,
    layout planning
    , and
    new model introductions
    .
  • Support the implementation of
    lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
    initiatives within the production planning domain.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Production Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of experience
    in production planning within the
    automotive manufacturing industry (CKD, SKD, or OEM environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of
    MRP/ERP systems
    (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of
    production flow, capacity planning, and material management
    .
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in
    Excel and data analysis tools
    .
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities across departments.
