Responsible for accurately issuing, reissuing, and refunding airline tickets using the Amadeus system and ensuring compliance with IATA BSP, ICE, and SLS processes. This role ensures excellent customer service and maximizes revenue opportunities through effective reservation and ticketing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue, reissue, exchange, and refund tickets in Amadeus according to airline and IATA regulations.
  • Process daily ticketing transactions through BSP, ICE, and SLS platforms with high accuracy and within deadlines.
  • Assist clients and travel consultants with complex itineraries, fare quotes, and route planning.
  • Verify fares, taxes, and applicable rules to ensure compliance with airline policies and IATA standards.
  • Resolve ticketing errors, ADM disputes, and fare discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline contracts, fare rules, and market trends.
  • Coordinate with airlines and GDS providers to resolve system or booking issues.
  • Generate regular sales and transaction reports as required by management.
  • Support the finance team with reconciliations related to BSP settlements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring timely responses to client inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit purposes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an airline ticketing role within a travel agency or airline.

  • Proficiency in Amadeus GDS.

  • Strong knowledge of IATA BSP, ICE, and SLS platforms.

  • Solid understanding of fare construction, ticketing procedures, and airline policies.

  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex ticketing scenarios.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • IATA or GDS certification is an advantage.

  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
