Role Overview

The Senior Content Writer will lead the creation of all written content across our digital platforms, including the website, travel blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, ads, and social media.

This role requires creativity, strong storytelling abilities, SEO knowledge, and deep understanding of travel trends and customer behavior.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Strategy & Production

Write high-quality travel content: blogs, tour descriptions, guides, itineraries & articles.

Create compelling landing page copy optimized for conversion.

Craft email campaign content, automation flows, and newsletters.

Produce ad copies for Meta/Google ads and social platforms.

  1. SEO Writing

Apply on-page SEO best practices.

Write long-form content that ranks on Google.

Optimize existing content based on GSC & keyword data.

Work closely with the SEO team on content clusters & topical maps.

  1. Brand Voice & Consistency

Maintain a premium, engaging tone aligned with GAT Tours' brand.

Ensure all published content is error-free and consistent across channels.

Collaborate with design & media teams for creative storytelling.

  1. Research & Industry Insights

Conduct research on destinations, travel trends, competitors & customer intent.

Understand tourism seasonality and update content accordingly.

  1. Collaboration & Leadership

Work with the marketing team to build editorial calendars.

Mentor junior writers (if applicable).

Coordinate with operations to ensure itinerary accuracy.

KPIs (Performance Indicators)

Number of articles produced/month

SEO content score (SurferSEO or internal matrix)

Blog ranking improvement

Organic traffic contribution

Engagement rate on content pages

Zero-error content score after QC

Turnaround time for content tasks

Conversion rate improvements for landing pages

Required Qualifications

Mandatory:

3–5 years of professional content writing experience

Strong SEO writing skills (keywords, headings, content structure)

Excellent English writing & grammar

Ability to write long-form & short-form content

High research and storytelling skills

Strong time management & ability to handle multiple deadlines

Preferred:

Experience writing scripts for videos or reels

Knowledge of UX writing best practices
