Description
Sort Center area manager would manage third-party logistics sort center Operating on Amazon tools, systems and infrastructure. Area Manager would monitor safety , performance matrix including (DEA , dwell , reverse logistics, .. ) & financials to assure best customer experience delivering & receiving shipments from different nodes & manage CPT & truck utilization .

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage Amazon & 3PL team on site -Processing and sorting packages by destination
  • Supporting loading/unloading operations
  • Managing backlog and inventory flow
  • Coordinating with carriers and other Amazon facilities
  • Handling missorts and ensuring proper routing
  • Following standard operating procedures for loading delays and other operational challenges

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
