Smart Power has an outstanding experience in the field of Electromechanical engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of high and medium voltage substations and power stations, design and procurement of control, protection, planning and designs of LV & MV distribution networks, communication and SCADA systems for distribution & transmission networks and construction management of power projects.

  • We are seeking a skilled
    Site Engineer
    to support the successful execution of our on-site projects. Based at project locations and reporting to our Head Office, the ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to our field operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day site activities, resolving on-site challenges, and maintaining strong communication between all stakeholders.

Maadi ( Head Office ).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision:
    Oversee daily operations at construction/project sites, ensuring work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Progress Monitoring:
    Track project progress on-site and provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager.
  • Quality Control:
    Ensure all on-site activities comply with quality standards and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Technical Support:
    Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and workers on-site.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and report any incidents or risks.
  • Material Management:
    Coordinate the delivery, inspection, and use of materials on-site to prevent delays or shortages.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Quickly address any issues that arise during construction to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Coordination:
    Liaise between the site team, subcontractors, and head office to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Electrical Engineering
    ,
    Civil Engineering
    , or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience
    as a Site Engineer, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using project management tools.

Must have proven experience in power stations & tansformars.
