Role Overview

We are looking for a
Senior Mechanical Engineer
to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and management of our electro-mechanical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Site Engineering

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure optimal performance and progress.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, project schedules, and performance plans.
  • Handle PR (Purchase Requests) and MR (Material Requests) implementation and follow-up.
  • Design, plan, and implement electro-mechanical infrastructure projects, including HVAC, firefighting, cooling, and BMS systems.
  • Lead and manage projects related to capacity planning, system upgrades, and system migrations.
  • Supervise the implementation of electro-mechanical works such as HVAC, firefighting, and low-current systems.

Team Leadership

  • Guide and support engineers, senior team leaders, and technicians by providing technical direction and training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and service contracts.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Establish and maintain tools for monitoring system performance, capacity, and utilization.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Mechanical Engineering
    or a related field.
  • Minimum of
    2 years of experience
    in data center operations or mechanical project management.
  • Proficiency with system monitoring and project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of power and cooling systems for data centers.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in
    Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    .
  • Strong experience in preparing daily progress reports and weekly project plans.

Work Environment

  • Ability to work on-call for emergency situations, including night shifts when required.
  • May involve physical activity such as lifting or installing equipment.
