Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
QC Engineer (Civil or Architectural)
to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and managing
material submittals
, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, and supporting the
review and coordination of shop drawings
. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality assurance throughout the construction lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Review and verify
    material submittals
    for compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure timely submission and approval of materials.
  • Maintain a
    material submittal log
    and track approvals, rejections, and resubmissions.
  • Assist in the
    review and coordination of shop drawings
    , ensuring alignment with design intent and site conditions.
  • Conduct
    site inspections
    to verify that delivered materials match approved submittals.
  • Prepare and maintain
    quality documentation
    , including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with the QA/QC Manager and project engineers to implement quality control procedures.
  • Participate in
    pre-construction meetings
    and technical workshops related to materials and shop drawings.
