Civil Drafter / Designer (Remote – Based in Egypt)

A U.S.-based
civil engineering and land development firm
is seeking a talented
Civil Drafter / Designer
to join its growing remote team.

This role is ideal for professionals experienced in
AutoCAD Civil 3D
who take pride in precision, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality design work.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare
    site grading, drainage, and utility plans
    using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Apply redlines, maintain CAD standards, and organize drawing files
  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members remotely
  • Deliver accurate and professional design drawings on time
  • Enhance workflows, ensure design quality, and follow established standards

Qualifications

  • 4–10 years
    of practical experience in
    site development, infrastructure, or utility design
  • Strong proficiency in
    AutoCAD Civil 3D
    , including:
  • Surface creation and grading tools
  • Alignments, profiles, and pipe networks
  • Sheet setup, labeling, and plan production
  • Excellent
    attention to detail
    and ability to follow redlines accurately
  • Good
    English communication skills
    (written and verbal)
  • Ability to
    work independently and remotely
    , managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience preparing:
  • Grading & drainage plans
  • Plan & profile sheets
  • Utility layouts and details
  • Familiarity with
    Google Drive, Asana
    , or similar project management tools is a plus
