Job Purpose:

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and strategic advice across a variety of legal matters. This includes case assessment, legal drafting, litigation management, and compliance with local laws and regulations. The role requires a high level of legal acumen, analytical thinking, and precision in written and verbal communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and evaluate potential and current client cases to determine legal positioning and risk assessment.
  2. Conduct legal research and provide expert opinions on complex legal matters.
  3. Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including statements of claim, memoranda, appeals, and cassation petitions.
  4. Represent and liaise with clients, attending legal meetings and discussions when necessary.
  5. Provide mentorship and training to junior lawyers and trainee attorneys.
  6. Prepare detailed technical and legal reports on assigned legal services and client cases.
  7. Participate in internal and external meetings with clients and team members to discuss case strategies and legal updates.
  8. Draft legal articles, opinions, and analyses on regulatory changes and emerging legal trends.
  9. Maintain organized case files and ensure proper documentation and archiving of all legal procedures.
  10. Ensure ongoing compliance with Egyptian and Saudi legal systems, regulations, and court procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Licensed lawyer, registered before the
    Egyptian Court of Cassation
    .
  • Minimum of
    10 years of experience
    in legal practice, preferably in litigation and corporate law.
  • Profound knowledge of
    Egyptian and Saudi
    legal systems and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and pleading complex legal cases.

    Able to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple concurrent cases without compromising quality.
