Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Alexandria for Container Inspectors – Estimators, limited to residents of Suez. The responsibilities include inspecting containers for damage, estimating costs of repair, coordinating with the maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The role also involves detailed reporting and maintaining inspection data for operational accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Experience in container inspection, repair assessment, and cost estimation.
  • Knowledge of container logistics and maintenance standards and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control practices.
  • Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prepare detailed reports.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and basic software for maintaining records.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in logistics or transportation is an advantage.
  • Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field preferred.
