Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Sourcing
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on technical and commercial criteria.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
  • Manage procurement of materials, components, and services for engineering and production projects.
  • Supplier Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Conduct supplier audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Project & Engineering Support
  • Coordinate with project engineers to define technical specifications and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
  • Support the design and engineering teams in identifying alternative materials and suppliers.
  • Ensure timely procurement to meet project milestones and delivery schedules.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records.

Support internal and external audits related to procurement and supply chain.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical / industrial engineering (or equivalent).
  • 4–6 years of experience in procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering materials, fabrication, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requests.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Good in spoken and written English.
